Nelson is a regular visitor to the centre! Him and Marcelina join us Monday mornings and afternoons where Marcelina graces us with her lovely voice. They are always a joy to have around! Here is a beautiful picture of Nelson enjoying a hike.

James Bay New Horizons jazz group piano player Ernie Jarman, 90, tickles the ivories and sings a tune, accompanied by (from left) clarinetist Jim Lawler, 89, saxophonist Les MacNeill, 77 and vocalist Joy Lawson, 78, during a recent musical session at the seniors' centre on Menzies Street. The group meets on Wednesdays between 1 and 3 p.m. and is hoping to find a rhythm guitar player. Newcomers, with or without instruments, are welcome to join the group.
