A DIFFERENT BOOK CLUB
In this club, Members bring a book they would like to discuss and, during the meeting, we take turns presenting our choice and leading a discussion of its content. All genres of fiction and non-fiction are welcome, historical or science fiction, mysteries, memoirs, biography, autobiography, history, science, self-help, and articles from magazines and newspapers. It’s also okay to discuss the same book for several weeks. If you don’t have anything you wish to bring to the meeting, you are invited to come, listen and join the discussion.

WISDOM CIRCLE
Help yourself and others by sharing your experiences during these challenging times. If you have been concerned about how worried you’ve been, come and listen to others remedies and challenges. How do you do your shopping? Should you wear a mask? Do you need social time with others? When is the best time to go outside? Do I watch too much TV? Who should I trust? Who was the last person you touched? Do you have touch in your life? Do you have someone to share your thoughts and concerns?

WRITERS’ GROUP
Bring your own writings, short story, poem or piece of creative non-fiction, and share in the company of like-minded participants. This class provides a safe environment where everyone can learn and grow. Our mentor, Sheila, will assist in the editing process.

SITTING IN SILENCE
Sitting in Silence and allowing the thoughts of the day to just be, they gradually melt away as the attention moves inward. Coming together as a community in the space of silence allows the work of meditation to deepen personally and collectively. Silent Sitting is an “inner shower”, as the energetic bodies of the individual and the community are cleared and freshened, making it possible to return to the essence within. It is as essential for individuals refresh daily through meditation. Chairs will be available. Bring your cushion if you wish; there are mats for the floor.
