WALKING GROUP
This is a group of individuals who like to get out in the company of others and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. All walks are held around Greater Victoria, and vary from week to week. The terrain may be hilly, and participants should wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Walks can vary in length as we walk at a comfortable pace.

ACTIVE SENIORS ENJOYING LIFE CHAIR EXERCISE (A.S.E.L.)
An instructor demonstrates how to work muscles to stabilize and strengthen the entire body with. Cardiovascular exercises are incorporated into this program to improve endurance. There are some standing components to the routines, however; participants are encouraged to work within their own comfort level. This activity is provided in partnership with Beckley Farm Lodge.

DANCESOQI
This new dance movement class starting with break down some dances steps the instructor, Isabel Arias Santos, will teach. The class will finish with a variation of Clinical somatic that are very beneficial for our bodies and a little bit Qigong at the end. These three movements complement each other: Dance, Somatic and Qigong. They have the same goal move our body gently and connect body and mind. It is a union of the amazing movements all together.

Learn how to strengthen your muscles safely and effectively with a variety of strength training equipment. This program will help you look better, feel better and improve flexibility and strength. Basic equipment supplied.

DYNAMIC STRENGTH & FLEXIBILITY
Starting from the spine, enjoy lengthening and strengthening movements with body alignment, posture isometric contractions with controlled breathing to maximise physical & mental energy.

POSTURAL STRETCHING
This class is ideal for people feeling stiff, and suffering with chronic aches and pains. Stretch improves joint range of movement and muscle flexibility through a structured series of dynamic and static stretching. This program works on creating a sense of freedom in the body reducing muscle tightness and restriction. Sessions will end with meditation using imagery. Basic equipment supplied.

LINE DANCING - INTERMEDIATE
Join other dancers and learn some fun Line Dances or just come for the great exercise!
In our Line Dancing Lessons, Carol Mason will teach many different line dances to all genres of music like Country, Top 40, Hip Hop, Ballroom, Blues, Funky, Latin, Swing and much more. You never need a partner in our Line Dancing Lessons but feel free to bring along some friends and have a lot of fun. Plus, you get exercise without realizing you are actually exercising. If you are looking for Line Dancing in the area, then you definitely want to come here.

Line Dancing lessons start with an Introductory level Line Dance, then we move into Beginner level dances. This makes new students feel very confident each week as we review the dances from the previous week and then introduce a new if time permits. This class will introduce many of the basic moves necessary for Line Dancing.

SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCE
Are you interested in learning reels, jigs, hornpipes, novelty and old time dances? Dances are always walked through as well as, briefed before each dance to aid in memory and alleviate worry. All levels welcome. Beginners are especially encouraged.
