Last week we had some little visitors! Grade 2/3 children from James Bay Community School stopped by the centre to have some Community Dialogue. Their task was to talk to some of our seniors about what it was like when they were that age. They had a few tasks of reading books and interviewing our members.
A popular question asked was "What did you wear for Halloween back then?"
A lovely picture of the fountain at the Parliament by our member and volunteer Pat M. With our cold weather this early February we were glad to see so many people bundled up! Keep Warm :)
British Columbia's only young racing driver competing at any level in the Mazda Road to Indy, brought a little pre-Valentine’s tenderness to Members participating in A.S.E.L. on Thursday, February 13
On Wednesday, February 12th 27 Members were treated to High Tea at the Empress. Our Dress Red ticket holders were surprised by this delightful turn of events. Many had never shared in this time honoured tradition and were thrilled at the opportunity.
